Baby Care – A Guide For First Time Parents
Planning for a Baby and introducing a new life into the world is always encouraging and exciting. It’s an overwhelming experience for both the parents. And more overwhelming is the amount of advices and suggestions imparted by everyone around about the Baby Care basics. Everyone normally has something to say on the topic and this actually scares the new mom and confuses her further. There is a lot of stuff that the new parents and especially the new mom need to know like Natural baby care, healthy eating, Baby Seeping Habits, etc. The nine months of pregnancy are not the only difficult point for a new mother, but the months entailing after the birth of a baby are intense too, especially as the baby needs lot of care and help. Let us summarize some of the Baby Care essentials that first time parents need to know:
Feeding Baby is one of the most important aspects of handling a baby, because 
nutrition is very important for a New Born Baby and mother’s milk is the elixir. The right positioning and handling of the baby is very vital as also is the breast feeding norms and period.
Diapering Baby is essential for the cleanliness of the New Born and during the first years of birth, the child needs to be diapered at all times. This needs a lot of knowledge and sense as in to gauge when the diaper needs to be changed and how to go about it. Natural Baby Care diapers can be used
Bottle Feeding Baby, the transition from Breast Feeding to bottle feeding must be smooth and must be undertaken after taking doctors consultation. It’s recommended to breast feed continuously for the first 6 months. It is necessary for Natural Baby Care. After this period, Bottle Feeding may commence.
Clothing Baby. Infant or Baby Clothing should be chosen with caution. A Babies‘ 
skin is very sensitive and thus the clothing and the diaper material should be chosen so as to avoid rashes and discomfort for the baby.
Vaccination of Your Newborn at the right and early age is very important. Today there are a lot of Baby Vaccinations for major prevention of diseases available free of cost and should be carried out as per the doctors advice.
Care for Your Baby’s Gums and Emerging Teeth will start in time, this is when the Teething process begins and requires proper care. The gums are not very strong at this point and the arrival of the new teeth may cause some discomfort for the baby, there are teething gels available to ease Baby’s discomfort. Proper solid food is usually given by the time teething starts so baby can be familiarized with this process.
Sleeping patterns of Babies can be erratic, which means they could be awake almost half of the night. This is because they don’t understand the difference between night and day. It is however recommended that a New Born Baby should sleep around 16 hours a day.
